Works great!

As long as you understand that is is designed to essentially to get you on paper at approx. 25 yards or so it is a good value. I believe that it is a little sensitive to potential damage when chambering and removing from the chamber due to its wiring being exposed however due care appears to work. Can not speak of its long term durability however I do remove the batteries when not in use for a week or so which I believe will help with its longevity.

Site-Rite Chamber Laser

Bought this to help bore sight a Marlin Model 60 that I had installed a scope on. Also used it on a Walther P22 that has a under rail laser on it. The SSI Cartridge fit snug in both new chambers with a strong enough laser to set up @ 25 yards. You have to becareful with the fine wires. With each gun viced I put a can next to them to set the battery pack on. Had no issues and was able to get the P22's laser and this laser to Co-witness, along with the fixed sights. Both were on paper just needing small adjustments. This SSI Sight Rite saved me time and money. It comes with a small storage sack but I won't use it. I don't think wadding it and the 2 fines wires in there would be a good ideal. Good sharp laser dot with a tight circle.

Gets the job done on a budget

Works pretty well...used it to sight in my aftermarket red dot reticle on my son's .22 pistol. I simply just lined up the red dot in the window of the sight with the red laser dot projected on the paper from the bore sighter. Very simple and quick and easy to use.The laser is just about bright enough to be seen easily on a light colored target up to around 50 feet.
